We are just over a month away from the 2nd Annual Battle on the Bay taking place in Owen Sound and Georgian Bluffs the weekend of July 25-27....
The schedules are set, with the following teams taking part in each division:

Tournament action will begin on Friday July 25th at 4pm, with the 13U Division playing all games out of the Duncan Mclellan Major & South Diamonds, and the 11U Division playing out of Balmy Beach (Indian Falls Conversation Area) and the Shallow Lake Community Recreation Centre Diamond. Round Robin play will take place Friday and Saturday, with the teams split evenly into 2 Pools per division. The Top 2 teams from each pool will advance to the Semi-Finals on Sunday morning, with the winners of the Semi Finals advancing to the Championship on Sunday afternoon. Both Championship games will be played at the Duncan Mclellan Major Diamond, with the 13U Championship taking place at 12:00pm, followed by the 11U Championship at 3pm. ROGERS TV will be on site to record both Championship games.
The OSPS BBQ will be on site at Duncan Mclellan throughout the weekend, with OSMBA volunteers cooking up some hotdogs and hamburgers for sale. A selection of drinks and concession items will also be available for purchase. At Balmy Beach there will also be concessions available, including slices of pepperoni and cheese pizza. OSMBA volunteers will be present at all parks throughout the weekend to help hand out scoresheets, game balls, MVP awards, and to provide general directions and information for anyone that needs it.

In the weeks leading up to the 2025 Battle on the Bay, the tournament organizers will be looking for field sponsors. The cost for Field Sponsors is $100 per field, with the sponsor providing a banner that will be displayed on the field all weekend. Sponsors can choose which diamond they would like their banner displayed at, or they will be assigned randomly. All field sponsor banners will be relocated to the Duncan Major Diamond prior to the Championship games and will be returned to the sponsors after the tournament.
