We are excited to see that just over half of our 2025 registered members have signed up for Jr Baysox Rep Tryouts for the 2026 season. The tryout dates have now been set...
An email will be sent to all registered tryout participants this weekend, but you can find the tryout schedule here:
Tryout Schedule. If you are unable to attend one or more of your tryouts, please reach out to the coach. The coach contact email can be found within the tryout schedule information.
A couple of quick notes:
- Players trying out for teams at 15U and above, please be sure to review the OBA Bat Rules: Bat Rules - Ontario Baseball Association
- For teams that will have player "cuts", each player will be provided a tryout card with a registration ID #. This ID # corresponds with your tryout registration. At the completion of tryouts, a player tryout list will be available on the team website. This list will only contain the Player ID #s and each will indicate "Selected" or "Released". Additional information on how to find the tryout lists will be provided in the email to all participants.
- With significant interest in the Jr Baysox Rep program, and only a limited number of roster spots available teams, we will consider adding Select teams, where warranted. In order for this to happen, we will need parents to come forward that are willing to coach. This opportunity will be explored after the Rep tryouts.
- 2025 Jr Baysox Rep players are asked to NOT wear their jerseys to the 2026 tryouts. Jr Baysox swag, house league jerseys, baseball pants, or comfortable athletic attire is acceptable.
