Come join the Owen Sound Minor Baseball Association Jr Baysox as we embark on an exciting new chapter of growth and development. This year marks a turning point for our organization as we rebrand and revamp to better serve our community and the youth who are passionate about both house league and competitive baseball.
Baseball has seen a significant resurgence in Owen Sound. In 2023, we proudly fielded our first Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) team in several years with our 9U team. Building on that momentum, 2024 saw even greater success with teams in the 9U, 11U, and select teams at the 7U and 15U levels. This growth reflects the enthusiasm and commitment of our players, families, and volunteers, but maintaining and expanding our program requires strong community support.
Our current goals include improving our baseball fields, purchasing essential equipment (such as pitching machines, umpire gear, bases, bats, and balls), offsetting uniform costs, and celebrating our players’ achievements with year-end awards. However, as a volunteer-based community organization, we rely on the generosity of local businesses like yours to help us provide these opportunities.
After 10 years of not increasing our sponsorship funding levels, we are excited to offer tiered sponsorship opportunities this year:
- Bronze Level Sponsorship ($300): Your logo and business name will be featured on our website.
- Silver Level Sponsorship ($500): Your logo and business name will be featured on a Team Jersey.
- Gold Level Sponsorship ($750): Enjoy all Silver-level benefits and Bronze benefits, plus your business name and logo will be advertised on our social media platforms.
- Platinum Team Sponsorship ($1000): Enjoy all the benefits of the Gold-level sponsorship, with added premium visibility. This package includes a customized banner featuring your business name and logo, prominently displayed at tournaments. Additionally, businesses have the opportunity to attend tournaments and set up promotional tents to connect directly with the community, if desired.
If a monetary sponsorship is not possible at this time, we would also greatly appreciate in-kind donations from your business. Contributions such as goods, services, or gift cards can be incredibly valuable in supporting our events, fundraisers, and day-to-day operations. Your generosity in any form will help us continue to make a positive impact in our community.
